Sacyr, through its subsidiary Somague, has been awarded a new Metro contract in Brazil for a total sum of almost 25.8 million euros, thus strengthening its position within the Brazilian market.

Sacyr Construcción has obtained its first contract in Peru with the construction of two hydroelectric plants for 59 million euros (77.9 million dollars).

Sacyr Concesiones Chile, subsidiary of the Sacyr Group, has been awarded the concession for the Route 43 motorway linking the cities of Ovalle and Coquimbo. The group will be investing 175 million euros in this project and the concession runs for a maximum period of 30 years.

Sacyr has entered the Eco 10 index based on the recommendation from 48 investment firms, which have decided that it is a good investment opportunity for the coming months. Moreover, Morgan Stanley has included Sacyr in its MSCI Spain index, which is formed by 23 Spanish mid caps and large caps.

These join the recently-awarded contract to construct Vila Prudente station, which is currently underway in Sâo Paulo.
